Collect and analyze network metrics (Drive test and KPI statistics).
Perform UMTS/HSDPA KPI monitoring and troubleshooting.
Manage and schedule outsourcing drive test teams, through the project rollout and optimization phase.
Use special tools to make deeper troubleshooting, such traces, neighbor tuning, etc.
RF Optimization and BSC Engineer, VIVA(Trilogy DR) Sto Dgo, Dominican Republic. (2005-2010)
Perform Nortel GSM BTS, BSC and TCU preventive and corrective maintenance troubleshoot root cause
of outages and implement solutions to fix the problems.
Collect and analyze network metrics to detect points of failures, capacity limits, hardware degradation and
other faults impacting network performance.
Perform drive test to measure coverage and verify system problems related to handoff failures, network
blocking, interference, etc, in both GSM and CDMA networks, using TEMS Investigations for GSM and
AGILENT E6474A for CDMA.
Perform data post processing to convert drive test data into reports and graphical representations using
Actix and ACTIX Spotlight.
