In completing my MSc degree in Modern Digital and Radio Frequency Wireless Communication at the University of Leeds, I have been introduced to various models of modern wireless network topology and types; the principles of 2G and 3G cellular mobile technology; The infrastructure of GSM and UMTS; Flow and Error Control Techniques; and circuit switching, packet switching and virtual circuit technologies. In addition, the course programme has also provided me with the basic knowledge of Fundamental Communication Theory and different digital wireless communication techniques. These include the concept of Source and coding methods and techniques; different Synchronisation techniques; Data Encryption techniques and Error-control channel coding. In doing the MSc project I have successfully applied the knowledge of Microwave Engineering in the design and development of a microwave transmitter data chip through simulation and testing processes using “microwave office”. Furthermore, the study of my undergraduate courses has provided me with advanced numerical and mathematical skills for solving both physical and computing problems. Through work experience in TRW I have been involved in team work, and have developed communication skills with colleagues and external customers. I have also built and maintained long term friendships with many of my colleagues from the company. My hard work and attitude were highly praised by the leader of my work department. I believe my knowledge and past experience will help me to learn new knowledge quickly and efficiently. If I have an opportunity to work with your company I will be grateful and successful.
