Job Description
Carry out routine operation of the GPRS Network.
Monitor the performance of TCP/IP for on line billing data collection.
Handling Operation and Maintenance activity of GPRS core network as well as its data backbone and the Billing Gateway.
Validation of CDF runs control reports informing maintenance about any abnormalities and any error.
Coordination with respective branch commercial and accounts for reviewing rejection report resulted from SAPS and credit control systems.
Initiate the traffic and statistical reports required by the operation to study the traffic and required by the maintenance to analyse the performance of the Network.
Complete the assigned tasks in a reasonable time frame.
Management of Backup tapes, preventive maintenance activities and fault recovery.
Participate in the Maintenance of the network.
Prepare documented project plan for the new task and project assignment to the whole team and prepare periodic reports about the status of the project.
Participate in evaluation, acceptance tests in accordance with Etisalat specifications.
Follow Up the standardizations of GPRS, UMTS, LCS, OMA, GRX
Understand all network elements related to the GPRS Core Network and its data backbone and the Billing Gateway.
