HSBC Software Development Pvt. Ltd. as Software Engineer June2006-July 2007
Project Network Intrusion Detection System monitoring
Network Intrusion Detection System is used to detect inappropriate, incorrect, or anomalous activity by monitoring data flows. It is an important security tool for exception monitoring. My job responsibilities involved monitoring all events everyday on the basis of group IT Security standard, Virus Monitoring and Trojan Horse Detection.
Entity Solutions Ltd., Udaipur as Design Engineer July 2005- April 2006
Project Testing, validation and troubleshooting of Embedded software for SPRINT energy meters
This project mainly involved test and validation of Embedded Software of SPRINT meter with some new logics for Tamper Detection.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Real time tapping analyzer for Parkinson and Huntingtons disease March 2009 Dec 2009
Programming Language C, MATLAB, Perl, MatTap tool
Platform Linux (fedora 8)
The project required system level development where Digital Acquisition Device (NI-DAQmx) is interfaced with MATLAB over Linux platform. Job responsibilities involved
o Configuring the device by installing proper software packages through rpm, creating an interface for MatTap and MATLAB.
o Automation of the system to gather and process data without interference. Automation scripts are written in Perl.
o Development of GUI interface for MATLAB.
o Implementing Wing-Kristofferson (frequency and time domain) analysis for performance evaluation.
Research-Haar based Orthogonal Signals for Ultra Wide band pulse generation.
Programming and Tools C, MATLAB, Jan 2008 Dec 2009
The research work involves generating orthogonal signals for Ultra Wide Band (UWB) Communication system using Haar based polynomials and simulation of generated pulses on MATLAB, Arbitrary waveform generator and Digital Oscilloscope.
The second part of the research involves simulation of High Communication date rate system using proposed pulses via different modulation techniques through multipath fading channel.
Simulation of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (802.11) systems co-existent over physical layer Dec 2008
Programming and Tools MATLAB
The project involved physical layer simulation (design and simulation of software radios) of Bluetooth standard and Wifi standard (802.11) and their performance analysis based on BER and power ratios.
Simulation of Noise Cancellation algorithm using different filtering techniques in C
Programming and Tools C, MS Visual Studio 8 July 2008
This project involved generation of Gaussian Noise, corruption of DSP data with the noise, filtering quantization noise and finally filtering the noise using Median filtering approach in C.
Design of M-PSK and M-QAM Modems for various channel conditions
Tools Used MATLAB Dec 2008
The project involved designing of M-PSK and M-QAM modulator and demodulator in Rayleigh and Rician fading conditions and designing of timing recovery loop, frequency recovery loop and equalizers to negate the channel conditions.
