Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Working as an RF Optimization Engineer for GSM 900 and DCS 1800.
Conduct drive test for Coverage Verification, Benchmarking, Site integration and Site Acceptance.
Analyze and post process data gathered during drive test.
Ensure the proper collection and maintenance of BSS parameters and maintains historical database of all the sites that evolve during optimization process.
Formulate drive route definitions for upcoming and existing sites.
Monitor and analyze the daily performance reports/statistics from SPOTS, Net Act and provide possible solutions like parameter adjustments.(Dual Band Sites, Concentric cells etc)
Formulate KPI values (Key Performance Indicators) for the network.
Implement proposed network enhancements and solutions to improved network functionality.
Recommend hardware modification such as antenna tilting, re-orientation, additional TRXs.
Perform parameter modifications to improve quality of service.
Evaluate BSS optional features and its impact in network performance.
Network KPI monitoring Analyze worst cell list and correlate results with network events.
Frequency Planning.(BBH,SFH)
Neighbor Audit and Neighbor Optimization.
Analyze overall Traffic(HalfRate,FullRate,DualRate) & Optimization
Recently I was managing SWAP Project of Siemens to NSN.(Swap Plan. Parameter Mapping, Formula Mapping, Post & Pre Swap DT Analysis, Monitoring and Comparing Ex Siemens and NSN KPIs.
