Support local engineers to manage the BTS and Transmission part of all networks.
Management of subcontractors related to BTS and transmission MW equipments installation according to the rollout plan
Execution of all kind of work orders related to BTS part.
Perform BSS training on job for local Lacom BTS engineers.
Prepare the daily weekly and monthly report about transmission and BTS network KPI's.
Assure the BTS Maintenance:
Check the hardware of the BTS sites after installation (BTS rack, Batteries & rectifier rack, Transmission equipment, environment alarms).
Ensure rectification and cleaning of installation problems of transmission for already installed links
Power on the BTS and do the functional acceptance after running the script and make the configuration of all BTS’s boards and transmission equipments (NEC).
Test all Boards and our performance (Power transmit, RSSI, VSWR (site master), Alarms reporting status of E1s, (BER Tester), Test call, Hand off,).
Check and analyze the alarm management table of all sites in the network.
Prepare the script and run it for swapping sector carrier in the BTS site.
Plan for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for transmission problems.
Investigate all kind of alarms and check the problems (BTS part, BSC part, Transmission part or NGN part).
Up grade of each equipment BTS BSC.
Transmission equipments, installation acceptance link and equipments swaps, site integration, troubleshooting of the following equipments:
NEC equipment pasolink.
Wmax trail project: test of two pilot sites and execute their integration to the transmission network using CPE terminal and Wmax Siemens BS.
