Mobile Applications Engineer Job

• The Mobile Applications Engineer will be a key member of the Access’ leading edge software engineering team developing software applications for a wide set of device platforms.

• As a member of the engineering team, the candidate will make significant contributions and have important influence in the design, implementation and delivery to vast mobile customer base.

• The candidate will have many opportunities to work with a broad set of mobile platforms and leading edge wireless devices.

• Review and analyze product requirements and contribute to the development of the engineering functional specifications.

• Contribute to the architecture, design and implementations of the user interface, APIs and platform/device specific requirements. Serve as the key member of the development team interfacing with the external customers and internal organizations (sales, marketing, QA and others).

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in the design of internet and mobile applications.

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in C/C++ with a strong understanding of software development for resource constrained devices/platforms.

• Hands-on experience developing in

HTTP, TCP/IP, XML, MFC, HTML, WCSS, ECMAScript.

• Experience bringing the mobile products from concept to consumer launch.

• MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related academic fields

Good communication skills and team player a must.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience developing embedded or mobile applications on platforms such as BREW, Linux, Palm OS, Windows Mobile, Symbian OS.

• Basic knowledge and understanding of the standards and requirements for

W3C, OMA and others (SynchML, WAP, SMIL, WML).

• Hands-on experience developing with ARM compiler.
