HTC Thunderbolt: Verizon’s first LTE 4G Phone

Where as many electronics giants are showcasing their products at next months CES in Las Vegas, HTC’s Thunderbolt smartphone, is now available from Verizon. The Thunderbolt is a 4G phone, and the first 4G phone to be carried by the company.

In a twist of fate, the Thunderbolt appears to be a slightly modified version of Sprint’s popular Evo 4G, except this model packs support for Verizon’s LTE 4G network. Ironically, the Evo was Sprint’s first 4g phone too.

Internally, nothing is really known about the Thunderbolt, and all that can really be said about it is that it has a 4 inch screen.

Next months CES will see the unveiling of many new products with tablets and internet televisions to take center stage. You can never rule out a good smartphone however, and the Thunderbolt, along with hundreds of others will show their worth next month.
