MTS Ukraine continues broadband programme for schools

MTS Ukraine announced that it continues its Wireless Internet for Schools programme. The operator has provided mobile broadband connections for 69 schools across the country. MTS, in cooperation with Alcatel-Lucent, also recently launched its wireless broadband service in the Strakholisye orphanage in the Kiev region. A CDMA2000 1x EV-DO Rev A base station was deployed there. MTS offers its MTS Connect 3G services for schools.
