Job Summary

Working as a Project Engineer in the Networking Division of the company, GTL Ltd, Mohali (Global Telesystems Ltd) since May03. GTLs Network Engineering (NE) division is engaged in the creation and sustenance of a Global Information Society. NE provides solutions to design, engineer, commission & maintain - Wireless / Wire line Networks for service providers and large utilities across the globe. The Companys operations are multi-location, involving contract negotiations for Turnkey Supply, I&C, O&M services for GSM/CDMA/OFC requirements of Cellular & Basic Telecom Service Operators, OEMs, MNCs, Govt. Bodies, etc.

Present Project- Presently working on BSNL-NOKIA GSM Project Punjab & Chandigarh.
Reporting To-Project Manager (Punjab)
Job responsibilities - Carrying out the survey works for BSNL (Exchange & Non-
Exchange Sites)

- Carrying out the survey works for BSNL Swapping sites, BSC & MSC.
- Installation of Ultra Site NOKIA BTS
- Installation of NOKIA MICROWAVE
- Commissioning of Ultra Site NOKIA BTS
- Commissioning of NOKIA MICROWAVE with E1/T1 & RRI card

BSNL-ERICSSON GSM Project-Punjab & H.P.
Reporting To- Project Manager (Punjab & H.P.)
Job responsibilities-
- Installation of ERICSSON BTS-RBS 2202 & 2206.
- Installation of ERICSSON MICRO BTS-2302.
- Installation of GSM & MW Antenna.
- M/W link Alignment Hops to Hops.
- Measuring VSWR and Return Losses with Site Master (Anitshu Meter).
- Installation of complete BSNL (Exchange Site & Non-Exchange Site)
- Installation of Indoor & Outdoor Activities.
- Coordinating with the team in installing indoor electrical equipment & outdoor tower works.
- Coordinating with BSNL-ERICSSON Officials regarding site planning & installation.
- Surveying and planning the whole site works. Laying of Earth Pits, Rooting & Measuring Earthing.
