Details New opportunity for a Field Applications Engineer in the Bristol, Bath area with a world leader in wireless comms. This innovative company?s products are used throughout the world and this new role will ensure outstanding levels of support for customers - giving you a challenging role which will combine technical and customer-facing skills. The company can offer a genuinely exciting role in a pleasant working environment where training and career progression are top priorities.

The role would suit someone with ASIC/FPGA/DSP design experience and ideally experience in the design or integration of communication systems (wired or wireless). Candidates should have good communication skills and should feel comfortable liaising directly with customers. Exposure to GSM, UMTS, WiFi or Embedded software would be desirable but not essential. Due to the nature of the role, candidates will be expected to travel around 25% of the time, often on short international trips.
