Details **RF Driver Engineer** - RTOS, Driver Development, Debug, Embedded, RF

Salary GBP40000 - GBP60000 per annum excellent package

The role consists of developing and supporting the hardware drivers running on our clients multi-mode cellular baseband chipset, analogue and radio blocks. Specifically this role will be responsible for the radio control drivers, including control of RF components, analogue baseband components and digital baseband control and data flows.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of all aspects of radio interface software for state of the art cellular modem platforms.
- Participate in specification of reference and customer designs using new radios.
- Participate in/drive bring-up of modem platforms using new radios in conjunction with hardware and application software teams.
- Contribute to other driver, system and software activities as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Driver development in real time, C/RTOS environment.
- Ability to work in an inter-disciplinary team alongside hardware and application software teams.
- Experience of Software driver development for cellular chipsets.
- Experience of radio control software.
- Use of real-time embedded debug tools.
- Use of RF debug tools such as base station emulators, spectrum analyzers etc.
- Embedded real time operating systems \'C\' language programming.
- Experience with RF devices.
- Appreciation of air interface standards including, but not limited to GSM & WCDMA.
