Job description
This position should be considered as a market Guru in the field of PnP and C&D

As PnP and Broadcast sales manager your primary responsibilities are outlined below
Responsible for overall broadcast business across Kenya and East Africa
Creating business plan & overall go-to-market approach
Identifying opportunities in de-risking the business to generate continuous sales flow
Responsible for channel management across East Africa for the various products categorized for selling through resellers

Responsible for Broadcasters , PnP , and Convergence markets for Harmonic (mainly in Kenya and East Africa ). This position will be chartered with developing Harmonics business in C&D and PnP, defining and maintaining market requirements providing input to product requirements defining new solutions that can address operators issues

Definition solution kits to be demonstrated to customers, trade shows and partners key customer and partner identification/development business modeling product/technology positioning forecasting market research evaluating new opportunities in emerging markets


Required Job Skills

Candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the broadcasting market with close relationships to Production Houses , Broadcasters, Cellular Operators, Telcos across East Africa
Solid understanding of eco systems for C&D ,PnP,DTH, DTT , IPTV, Mobile TV and Internet TV
The job requires close relationship with Product Managers and Market sector directors for DTH and Broadcast, PnP as well as the sales organization across the different regions (Africa, India and Russia) will work closely with Sales Organization to engage and manage Strategic and Key accounts from a presales perspective


Solid product management knowledge
Track record of managing revenues
Ability to develop, organize and maintain relationship with partners and End Users
Strong oral, written, organizational, and presentation skills.
Ability to work with diverse employee population.
Frequent travel will be required (in some cases for a period of at least 2 weeks)

Required Experience

5 years minimum in Sales /marketing role
Solution / Product Management in digital TV eco system, preferred in Broadcasters, DTH operators
