The Data Transcript Engineer Functional Role is typically working with Core Network Nodes (MSC/ GMSC/ STP/ HLR/ SCP/ MSS/ MGW).
The Data Transcript Engineer is responsible for changes requested for the Core Network Nodes & maintaining the Data Base updated (Example B number, RC analysis, etc).
Contribute in the creation and improvements to procedures and routines within the department / group.
The DT Engineer is to take full responsibility for any changes introduced to the network or to any to any changes made to methods, processes or procedures, whether internal or external.
The DT Engineer category is vital in ensuring and keeping the performance of the network at the highest possible level by ensuring that problems / degradations are handled swiftly, that relevant performance parameters are monitored interpreted and highlighted if deemed necessary.
Provide the DT Team Leader with reports of work done daily & co-operate fully.
Attend in technical meetings responsible for DT team activities.
Should make creation and improvements to procedures and routines within the department / group.


3 Duties and Activities
The DT Engineer has to deploy the following duties at the best quality
DT daily activities
Integrating New Nodes into Service.
Introducing New Services

The main activities are the following
New Signalling/Traffic Routes & Route expansion.
A number, B number & RC analysis.
IN Triggering Tables.
DT audit on Nodes to guarantee the alignment of the Core Nodes from DT point of view.
Integrating the Core Nodes with Other New Nodes (Alcatel BSC, New SDPs, etc).

Able to work as a member of a team and lead junior staff from time to time.
