Details Ericsson Back Office Engineer

Works on shifts (24/7) checks and ensures that all alarm systems and terminals of the network are working effectively and reliably.
Examines alarm print outs and performs the required equipment and systems to rectify the malfunctioning highlights the significant observations to the attention of superiors and follows up as advised
Exchange data daily modification B-table changes, routing Cases, routing analysis, accounting, etc.
Preparing the DT for the traffic changes, doing tests monitoring changes effect.
Performance Analysis & Investigation
Experienced in using protocol analyzers & troubleshooting skills.
Have strong AXE Platform competence in the areas of CP (APZ 212 3X, 40, 50), APG 40/43.
Good knowledge in transport network (SDH, PDH, IP, etc.)
Knowledge on IP Networking and IP troubleshooting skills such as (SIP-I) is an advantage.
Create incident and outage reports as required by Customer and Management
Carries out assigned O&M tasks in respect of Trunk circuits, commissioning, testing, monitoring, trouble shooting, fault clearance and preventive maintenance activities as required.
Assists in preparing monthly/weekly/daily reports on O&M parameters for reporting and reviewing with superiors follows up as required
Assists in conducting Acceptance tests for Exchange equipment and systems as against Customer Specifications and manufactures recommendations participates in commissioning tasks for new equipment

Skills & Competencies

Bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
Have Strong APG experience is required.
Understanding GSM Network Signaling protocols such as ISUP, SCCP, MAP & connections to other nodes.
Have solid knowledge about GSM call scenarios.
3-5 years experience in telecoms, particularly in relevant domain areas
Deep knowledge of customer network and infrastructure will be a key advantage
Highly developed business and human competencies
Serious & Self inductive.

Able to work under pressure
