JOB DESCRIPTION

Ideally have a demonstrable experience in 3G RAN-OEM Platform (RNC and the Node B) test , integration, migration and configuration, and the skill set to support colleagues with technical interaction and guidance.
Will understand the challenges that a 3G RAN rollout will bring and be able to anticipate potential problems, and support their resolution
Will be expected to implement, test and troubleshoot 3G RAN/Tx/CN nodes. We are looking for highly professional applicants who are able to work independently and work under pressure in unpredictable environments. Will have experience with interacting with customers from different cultures and backgrounds
RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities are 3G Network Optimization and Network Performance Management/ Operation and Maintenance for the network of our client. To maintain the high performance regarding the interworking 2G/3G as the 3G will the extension of the existing 2G

Specific responsibilities include

- Implement and follow-up of strategy for improving the networks quality.
- Definition of the objectives.
- Definition of all KPIs / SLA should in service to maintain the target objectivesEnsure all customer KPI(s) are met as per agreed targets/SLA.
- Responsible for introduction of new features.
- Responsible for design and improvement strategies within area of responsibility.
- Process compliance of Network Performance Management, Capacity Management and Functionality
- The radio expert will be an advocate of delivery best practice and promote and implement relevant strategies and initiatives
- Suggest about appropriate tools and processes to meet the demands of the support domain.
- Build and maintain good relationships with Internal as well as external interfaces to help develop and get acceptance of new strategies and processes.
- Actively participate in external Customer meetings in support of the Manage Capacity and Services.

MANAGERIAL ROLE WOULD REQUIRE

- Provide positive leadership through building on successes, inspiring a sense of achievement and continuously motivating and encouraging the organization.
- Responsible for customer contacts within area of responsibility (geographical or other)
- Make a direct and proactive contribution to the development and achievement of the overall strategy and objectives of the department and wider organization.
- Formal reporting to higher management on a regular basis and ad hoc as required.
- Ability to create good teams and motivate them to achieve organizational objectives.
- Is able to delegate tasks and follow up on results
- Enable interfaces and build relationships to develop inputs for the resource planning of the Radio team. Ensure a resource planning function is in place for the Radio team to cover support to the customer Radio networks.
- Development of the internal procedures such as technical procedures, KPI calculation procedures

QUALIFICATION

Masters or Electronics & Communication engineering or equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS

Professional / Technical Competence Experience
Candidate MUST Have Excellent Radio, 3G NPI experience, Normally obtained in 8-12 years
Definite PLUS Prior OAM experience on ALU or NSN 3G Nodes a big plus.

HUMAN COMPETENCE

Communication Fluent and clear in communication. Problem Solving Can solve complex problems independently.

BUSINESS COMPETENCE

English Good skills in reading and writing, French or Arabic skills will be a plus Customer Focus Good understanding of the Customers business related to Managed services operations
Quality Focus Has good knowledge of Quality process & procedures, importance of implementing
them.
