- Responsibilities

Implements and maintains effective accounting procedures / practices to attain efficient processing of transactions like cash payments, cash receipts, bank payments, bank receipts, inventory / stores and journal voucher and others.
Ensure adherence to internal control policies and guidelines for the effective financial monitoring of all payments & coordinates with treasury for reconciliation of subsidiary records with general ledger balances of cash and bank.
Responsible to withhold taxes against payments as per rules & prepare schedules of accounting depreciation for the purposes of financial accounts and tax depreciation for income tax purposes.
Responsible for preparation of monthly analysis of results/projections regarding cost centers & preparation of financial statements providing financial progress reports to parent company.
Liaison and assist the internal and external Auditors in the audit of regional accounts and subsequent compliance of audit observations and reports.
Manages and handles fixed assets registers (FARs) on Regional and Corporate basis to ensure compliance with the requirement of financial, costing and regulatory accountings.

- Requirements

Qualification
A Masters degree in Finance / ACCA / CA from a certified institute.

Experience
Minimum 10 years experience in telecommunication environment preferably in similar roles & function.

Core Competencies
MUST have demonstrated outstanding capabilities in application of accounting Principles & Practices for Financial /Accounts Management & Budgeting.
Should have comprehensive understanding of Telecom business Accounting, ERP System, Billing System, Portfolio Managment, Facility Management.
Should be able to handle all matters related to Cash flows, Recording, Monitoring & Analyzing Of Cost Expenses,
Should know how to conduct Overall Governance & Turn-Around Management in the department.
