The DT Engineer funcitional role is typically working with Core Network Nodes(MSC/GMSC/STP/HLR/SCP/MSS/MGW)
The DT Engineer id responsible for changes requested for the Core Network Nodes & maintaining the Data Base Updated ( eg, B number , RC analysis, etc)
. Contribute in the creation and improvemnet to the procedures and routines within the department/group.
. The DT Engineer is to take full responsiblity for any changes introduced to the Network or to any changes made to the methods, procedures or proocesses , whether internal or external.
. The DT Engineer catagory is vital in ensuring and keeping the performance of the Network at the highest possible level by ensuring that problem / degratations are handled swiftly,that relavent performance parameters are monitored interpreted and highlighted if deemed necessary.
. Provide the DT Team Leader with reports of the work done daily & co-operate fully.
. Attend technical meetings responsible for DT Team activities.
. Should Make Creation and improvements to procedures and routines with in the department / group

Duties And Activities
. DT daily activities
. Integration New Nodes into Services
. Introducing new Services

Main Activities
. New Signalling/Traffic Routes and Route expension
. A Number ,B number & RC Analysis
. IN Triggering Tables
. DT audit on Nodes to guarantee the alignment of the Core Nodes from DT point of view
. Integrating the Core Nodes with other new Nodes ( Alcatel BSC, New SDPs etc)
