Currently we have an opening fir SGW Expert with our client in Eastern Europe. It is a 6 months extendable contract position and client is looking for someone with experience in O&M with Nokia SGW hiS-700 (Nokia Signaling Gateway) experience. Please find below the job description

Telecom engineer with BSC. degree and has experience on Nokia SGW platform.
Has very good knowledge on
HW SURPASS hiS 700-SSNC(Signaling System Network Controller)
Protocols and Applications
SIGTRAN
SS7, MTP, SCCP,TCAP, GT
SMS Application and SMS Screening
High-speed Signaling Links (HSL) and SIGTRAN (SS7oIP),SIS Server knowledge
Has skills and knowledge to carry out technical issues for his 700 technology
Supports daily O&M (Operation and Maintenance ) activities
Supports o Alarm Monitoring function
Supports to Fault Management function
Supports Performance Management function
Supports Configuration Management function
Collaborates with others to resolve complex matters
Takes part in 24x7 (Call-out) for technical support
Supports planning and execution of complex network HW/SW upgrades
Investigations major outages and can collect all required data and symptoms
Supports report writing and analysis as required by management
Provides OJT competence transfer applicable to own area of expertise
Interfaces with care engineers on escalated technical matters
Makes routine maintenance checks, takes follow up actions and documents

O&M engineering support can include support for the following functions

Network Surveillance.
Planned works management.
Advanced trouble management.
Configuration and provisioning management.
Quality and performance management.
System administration
