Currently we have an opening for Managed Services Sales Director with our client in Italy. It is a permanent position. Please find below the job description


Job Summary


The incumbent is mainly responsible for developing MS global sales platform and supporting business development and sales engagements for key MS projects globally. Details are as follows


1. Platform Development this may include the following
1. Developing and updating tools and document templates in order to better drive and continuously improve MS sales efforts globally
2. Designing training programs and materials to enhance the competency of MS global sales force
2. Business development which may include
1. Indentifying early involvement opportunities and provide strategic guidance on MS sales approach globally
2. Represent Client MS in C-level customer receptions in HQ or other major events and venues such as conventions, trade shows, summit meetings and customer conferences, etc.
3. Sales engagement supporting sales engagements for global key MS projects (mainly for outsourcing) in terms of deal shaping, solution architecture (including both technical and commercial solutions), proposal development, bidding clarification, business case, and contract negotiation, etc.


Duties/Responsibilities


1. Design, develop and update global tools and document templates to support sales process as needed.
2. Collect and analyze customer needs and Opex information, identify and assess MS sales opportunities and design consultative selling strategies and tactics for those opportunities.
3. Lead and/or support C-level customer communications (e.g. customer visits, workshops, industry conference, etc) to execute consultative selling strategies and tactics in globe where required.
4. Support sales engagements for global key MS projects (mainly for outsourcing) in terms of deal shaping, solution architecture (including both technical and commercial solutions), proposal development, bidding clarification, business case, and contract negotiation, etc.
5. Provide guidance and supervision to regional MS solution team on developing viable MS business cases and presenting Client MS values and benefits to the customer, and support Due Diligence and contract negotiation where required.
6. Build and leverage high level customer relationships to facilitate MS sales engagements and project deliveries.
7. Act as mentor and coach to selected MS sales staff in both HQ and Regions to develop and improve their competencies in handling MS sales engagements.
8. Compile project experiences and successful cases, conduct in-house or remote training sessions, and facilitate global knowledge transfer.

Experiences & Qualifications


1. University degree or above, Masters Degree preferred.
2. Minimum 8-12 years telecom operator or vendor experience with at least 5 years of direct experience in selling complex Managed Services solutions to wireless & fixed operators. Proven track records in high value MS sales.
3. Strong knowledge of operators and their ecosystems, in-depth understanding of Managed Services marketplace, and hands-on skills of MS engagements and solution architecture.
4. Exceptional business and solution skills with the ability to shape large and complex MS deals, conduct consultative selling, develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics, architect complex MS solutions, and influence customer executives decision making.
5. Strong networking and relationship building towards operators CXO customers.
6. Outstanding communication (verbal & written) and negotiation skills with the ability to lead, influence and drive complex deal shaping and negotiations.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex projects from the initial period to successful outcomes.
8. Demonstrated business acumen and financial understanding.
9. Must be a team player and posses exemplary managerial skills
