Currently we have an opening for OSP Director with our client. It is a contract position and we have multiple locations for this opening. Please find below the job description

Essential Functions

1. Responsible for the direction and management of all OSP related engineering duties, including OSP engineering work delivery, hiring, training, and management of OSP field staff.
2. Responsible for tracking all OSP projects against established engineering budgets.
3. Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of outside plant plans and specifications.
4. Conduct OSP meetings with clients or personnel within their organizations.
5. Manage the performance and delivery of staking and public permitting/coordination activities.
6. Assemble and/or supervise the preparation of OSP Plans & Specifications and Contracts.
7. Oversee and/or conduct OSP bidding processes, including pre-bid meetings, bid openings, post-bid analysis, preparation of recommendations, securing approvals, and generating all required correspondence.
8. Prepare closeout documentation and oversee the closeout process.
9. Responsible for quality of defined processes recommend changes in operating procedures to improve upon and/or assure proper engineering standards recommend procedures and techniques for improving the quality and efficiency of OSP operations.
10. Identify, meet and/or exceed client expectations within defined parameters related to delivery of services, quality, revenue, and sales goals.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Ten or more years of Outside Plant experience
contracts, rules and regulations required
Five or more years of OSP FTTX implementation experience including urban and rural FTTP construction project experience
Five or more years of OSP project management experience
