Chronos Consultings client is a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally. Due to aggressive expansion they are currently looking for a Solution Architect RAN.

The Role

The Solution Architect should be capable of understanding and working with a growing range of new products and have track record in delivering first class network design and performance services and to customers.

You will be responsible for
Lead and co-ordinate the delivery of network strategy, design and performance oriented services to the companys customers in the market unit.
Customer relationship management.
Solution analysis and definition.
Promotion of solutions and products toward existing and prospective customers with a view to winning business.
Provide leadership to colleagues within the organization.

Requirements
Electrical/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering degree from any reputed university.
Extensive experience delivering services in the areas of 3G RAN network design and performance, integration or customer support
Experience in delivering services in four of the following categories
o 3G RF RAN network design
o 3G Access Network Design - ATM
o 3G Access Network design - IP
o 3G node B and RNC integration
o Customer support on the 3G RAN
o 3G RF RAN Performance evaluation

Knowledge of the companys radio access product portfolio (RBS, RNC, SIU etc) and associated services portfolio for design, performance and strategy.
Demonstrated leadership in service delivery activities.
Working knowledge of wireless network architecture.
Working knowledge of core and access transmission technologies (microwave, fiber) is a requirement.
Working knowledge of IP and QoS.
Working knowledge of the companys 3G RAN planning, design, dimensioning and performance tools
Broad understanding of LTE and SAE.
Knowledge of competitor\'s products, system solutions, strengths and weaknesses which include strategy, business concepts, customer base, technical strength and market share.
Knowledge of the market trends, business drivers, customer needs and subscriber behavior.
Understanding on how political, technical and financial trends on the market will affect the operator\'s environment.
Fundamentals in economics, financials and accounting, including understanding of financial reports, financial/economic indicators and financial planning.
