JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
. Responsible for Database Engineering (DBE) software engineering and consultation services
To provide complex Software Engineering Services for all product lines to all Americas customers. Includes providing contracted deliverables to support both new network installs and changes to support growth and evolution of in-service wireless and wireline networks. Also provides regional overflow for complex software engineering services if required.
Technical Leader to ensure assigned projects are engineered to customer standards, engineering guidelines and organization processes.
To provide assistance or support to customers, Core Ericsson Network Teams, Manage Service Partners, COE and other DBE team members in meeting the objectives defined by the statement of work.
Responsible for tracking and providing feedback to the Team Leader on individual employee performance.
Recommends and executes initiatives/programs/projects to drive revenue, improve process, tools and employee development.
CORE/CRITICAL COMPETENCIES
Technical Leader for team that is responsible for the following DBE Customer Support
Single point of contact for coordinating Customer Information (CI) capture meetings.
Proactively pursues methods or solutions that will improve the Customer experience and/or their network
Acts as a trusted advisor to the customer by providing timely support to questions/issues
Documents discrepancies in project performance, ensures JCO opportunities are captured
Understands project financials and the impact of decisions to project profitability
Technical Leader for team that is responsible for the following DBE Operations Support Services
Tier 2 TAS/ER/GTAC TAS support for service outages, or technical inputs relating to DBE software engineering
Management requests for Root Cause Investigation (RCA) for project interrupts or quality issues
1st level techincal support to MSP or COE contracted to support routine, or low risk, DBE software engineering deployments
Provide input to tool development, and validation ownership of all DBE software engineering related tools
Technical Leader for team that is responsible for the following DBE Core Support
Stays abreast of new product engineering guidelines in order to generate high quality engineering results
Proactively drives improvements in tools, processes or solutions
Provides knowledge transfer sessions with team members, COE, and MSP on new products, processes, & tools.
Promotes & develops new service offerings
Proactively identifies how new products, EOL or engineering guidelines changes impact a Customer\'s network.
Recommends Cost of Service Pricing and changes to Service Description Documentation
Technical Leader responsible for the following DBE Leadership Team Support
Provides technical support to the leadership team in support of Sales or Sales Engineering organizations.
Provides project support to the Leadership team such as tracking MSP\'s and COE\'s quality and on-time performance on a project by project basis.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of Ericsson (CDMA) switching technology with proven ability to interact positively in a cross functional team environment.
Bachelor\'s EE, CS, or Telecommunications degree, or equivalent related work experience
ADA (Americans with Disability Act) REQUIREMENTS
0 Lifting of less than 50 pounds / more than 50 pounds
0 Office skills and activities including typing, answering phone, copying, etc.
0 Warehouse skills such as fork lift operation
