In an ongoing effort to meet and exceed the needs of our clients, we are seeking RF Field Engineers for our energy & telecommunications client in Worcester, MA.

Position Description
The Field Engineer will support our customer on product operation and system integration by

- Providing technical support for client products, applications, and systems providing training and training development

- Communicating with all areas of client organization, including Sales, Technology, Product Services, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and any others as required, to resolve customer technical issues

- Resolving product- and system-level technical problems and system design requirements

- Performing root cause analysis for problem resolution.

Required qualifications

- The ideal candidate will have attained a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or related sciences) or 2 years experience in the engineering industry, and have a minimum 3 years of experience with RF communications systems, system-level design, and troubleshooting concepts.

- Additionally, we are seeking candidates that have experience implementing and optimizing network-management systems using standardized NMS methods (i.e. SNMP).

- Candidates should have a working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet communications, and networking concepts direct experience with TCP/IP network design, routing, integration, and troubleshooting.

- Excellent knowledge of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communications systems is required, including experience integrating microwave point-to-point or point-to-multipoint systems.

- Candidates should have an understanding of RTU and PLC operation.

- Professional certificates in networking (i.e., Cisco) are highly desired.
