Multiple requirements in Vietnam
1) Designation- Software Engineer
Requirement- 1 - 3 years experience in Multisite Clearcase or similar tool-
Roles and Responsibility-
Build & Release builds for large multisite project(s)
Good skil / understanding in scripting language for required automation
Exposure to web based applications would be an added advantage
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Mandatory skills-
Expertise in SW Build & Release for large multisite project, scripting language, Make, Vob Administration,
Exposure to web based applications would be an added advantage
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Can read, write & speak English
Ability to work within a team
2) Designation- Software Engineer
Requirement- 0 - 3 years of experience in telecom/datacom domain and related SDLC
Roles and Responsibility-
Contribute in
Low Level Design (LLD)
Coding & Unit Testing (CUT)
Writing test procedures for integration
Aptitude for bug fix
Generate test reports, user documentation
Review of similar work done by peers
Be accountable for quality and timely delivery of own work
Mandatory skills-
Good programming skills / experience in C / C++ language.
Can read, write & speak English
Ability to work within a team / with peers, energetic, raising and resolving critical issues in constructive manner
Preferred Skills-
Basic Knowledge of GSM/GPRS
3) Designation-Senior Software Engineer
Requirement-3 - 5 years in GSM/GPRS Access Network development
Roles and Responsibility-
Contribute in complex low level design and module design
Coding, test plan development, testing, problem analysis and problem fixing.
Review design document(s), code and test plan generated by peers.
Isolation of problems, fix bugs, review of work done by peers and Software Enigeers in team
Contribute to High Level Design and guidance to Software Enigeers in team
Ability to contribute in all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Mandatory skills-
Good programming skills in C/C++ & experience in defect handling and resolution
Hands on development experience on RTOS / Unix, Strong C Programming Skills
Basic knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EGPRS
Good debugging and problem solving skills
Exposure to Configuration Management Tool (eg. Clearcase)
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work within a team/with peers, energetic, raising and resolving critical issues in constructive manner
Good Customer orientation
Self-motivated
Preferred Skills-
Understanding of 2G Protocols (Lapd/Lapdm, RR)
Exposure to monitoring tools like Nethawk/K15.
Usage of TEMS / MUSTI handset is a plus.
Knowledge of Finite State Machine and SDL
Must be able to interface and coordinate with other developers or testing teams to jointly resolve problems and issues
4) Designation-Software Engineer
Requirement-
Designing Test plans
Preparing Test setups, configuring and calibrating them for feature(s) testing
Test Scripting, Executing Test Cases, writing scripts for test automation, Test Result Reporting
Follow Testing and Lab processes while executing assigned tasks, bring any process deviations to notice of Supervisors
Work with senior team members (Technical Lead / Senior Engineer Testing) and ensure that assigned testing tasks are completed on time.
Learn & deploy test tools, applications and utilize them effectively in current project
Develop competence in assigned areas of technology
Active participation in training/sharing of good practices and latest technology updates among peers
Mandatory skills-
Basic Knowledge of BSC / MSC / MGW / MSC / HLR / SMSC
Good understanding and experience in scripting language / automation tools
Good knowledge in requirement analysis, Test planning, Test scripting, Test Spec, Test execution, Test Reporting
Experience with testing tool usage like Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, SOFI and applications like Ethereal, Nethawk etc.
Track record of troubleshooting issues
Can read, write & speak English
Ability to work within a team / with peers, energetic, raising and resolving critical issues in constructive manner
Preferred Skills-
Exposure to testing of wireless protocols in GSM protocol suites for a BTS over BSS interfaces like Abis/Asub/A interfaces would be advantageous
Exposure to BTS testing would be advantageous
Experience with test automation tools/scripts development would be an advantage
Hands-on experience in BTS testing
5) Designation-Senior Software Engineer
Requirement-3 - 5 years experience
Mandatory skills-
Hands on development experience on RTOS / Unix, Strong C Programming Skills
