POSITION SUMMARY- International relocation is available.

The candidate will be part of a team focused on the integration and development of leading-edge radio protocol stack software. You will be responsible for the integration, investigation, debug and development of GSM / GPRS / EGPRS / UMTS multi-RAT platform. The team\'s goal is to produce a robust high quality product and support it through certification, carrier acceptance and onto customer deployment.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of experience in real time embedded software development.
Strong C programming and debugging skills.
Good understanding of the use of, and interfacing to hardware accelerators.
Good understanding of multi-tasking and interrupt driven systems.
Experience debugging low level systems using oscilloscope, trace tools and logic analyzers.
Committed to work on all aspects of product development as a strong team member.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience of supporting a real time embedded software product from development through to customer acceptance and be able to show significant contribution to the program in the areas of performance, quality and robustness required from a market leading product.
University degree in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Prior experience in the design and development of current wireless technologies, particularly GSM / GPRS / EDGE and WCDMA / HSPA
Excellent knowledge with wireless systems, standards specifications and related industry issues.
Solid understanding of GSM / UMTS system architecture and the function and purpose of the different protocol layers, device driver interfaces and scheduling.
Good understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) drivers / interfaces.
