Job Description

Create and manage the evolution of wireless BSS platforms and work with product and technology teams to develop and implement platforms that support the delivery of voice, data and multimedia services.

Convert business requirements into system, application and process requirements and designs. This includes closely collaborating with system SMEs and solution architects to define and asses proposed solution designs.

Serve as business lead for BSS system design analysis.

Define and trace functional requirements for enterprise business support systems development projects and enhancements to support the evolving business needs.

Support the design and implementation of evolving platforms and coordinate the integration of incremental capabilities via existing BSS assets to support the Network.

Drive operating model and business process definition to meet operational requirements through close collaboration with product management, marketing, operations, customer care, technology teams and external vendors.

Ensure solutions are consistently defined, designed, implemented and deployed by component owners such that business needs are met and a consistent and sustainable architecture is realized. This will require close collaboration with internal technology teams and external vendors.

Work with project management teams to implement and deliver platforms using defined product development and launch methodology.

Work with the technology teams to partner with vendors to evaluate new technology and platforms that deliver support for voice, data and network service provisioning. Lead concepts to assess viability of technology through technology trials and evaluation.

Work with infrastructure, systems and platform vendors to evaluate new technology and trends to define the evolution of new services.

Work with customer care to address issues from the field, via enhancements to existing services, or into new and existing applications.
