Details Responsibilities
Staffing and supervision of all QA related activities, including creation of system test plan in accordance to product specifications and successful execution of QA test phase
Detailed technical mentoring of QA test engineers, including introduction and training of latest test methodologies and tools to improve group efficiency and overall test coverage
Work with cross functional team to define project requirements and planning necessary to deliver quality product on time. Be the customer advocate within the core team
Have full responsibility and accountability for QA staffing, performance and group budget
Requirements
BS/MS or equivalent education, plus 10+ years experience in integration and testing of complex licensed spectrum wireless systems, preferably 3GPP/UMTS systems. Minimum of 5 years experience in senior management role.
Hands-on experience with wireless systems is a must (UMTS, WiMax, LTE, etc)
Around 60% of time spent in test development and execution, 40% in management of QA group
Prior experience in test automation and scripting is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, will interact with cross functional management including the executive team
