Job Description
- In-depth definition of requirements for end-to-end implementation of VoIP system on existing infrastructure, based on defined market drivers and implementation options.
- In-depth knowledge of UMTS Core Network infrastructure
- Exploration and specification of Media Gateway systems options
- Primary deliverable issue Request For Information
- Further deliverable Deliver recommendations against RFI

Essential Experience
- Full knowledge of IP Multimedia Subsystems / 3GPP VoIP, Media Gateways
- Extensive Project Management experience at major Telcos, deploying end-to-end Voice over IP solutions
- Relevant industry knowledge of Mobile Satellite Systems
- Full understanding of Systems Definition Manual
- 10 years+ experience in voice telecommunications
- 5+ years experience in VoIP-specific implementations

In-depth knowledge of SIP, in terms of
- Major SIP infrastructure & systems
- SIP Customer Premises Equipment (SIP phones / handsets / softphones)
- Extensive industry experience working for or with major equipment vendors

Desirable experience
- Expert knowledge of deployed implementations of industry voice Codecs
- G.711, G.729, AMR, AMBE/ + etc.

Required Qualifications
- Relevant degrees and / or industry diplomas (e.g. Masters level engineering or telecommunications disciplines).
