Overview of the role of Senior Pre-Sales Consultant / Solutions Architect Mobile Broadband VoIP Solutions
To provide Solutions Architect / Senior Pre-Sales expertise to telecoms mobile operator clients within mobile broadband VoIP solutions. Background in mobile solutions VoIP. Key role with this international mobile solutions vendor.Strong understanding of VoIP/ SIP and mobile broadband solutions and market.
You must have direct experience and a deep understanding of VoIP technologies in general. Products covered will encompass mobile messaging (Voice, Video, Text, MultiMedia, IM) all transport independent and all architectures (FMC/IMS/NGN/TDM), methods inc mobile, class 4 routing, Border GWs, etc.
Key technical areas-
Experience in Installation/Configuration or Technical Pre-Sales of VOIP/SIP-based solutions
IP, TDM, UMTS, 2G, 2.5G, 3G knowledge and background desirable
Delivery of systems providing secure TDM & mobile voice, data and multimedia solutions
VoIP knowledge
Knowledge of circuit switch telephony and IP telephony
IP Network Design - Layer 2-7, routers/switches
In depth Protocols knowledge SIP, H323, T38, RTP, Codecs
NGN & IMS - advantageous
Based in the south of England we require you to have knowledge and experience in the UK and European mobile telecoms market ideally.
Role Purpose
To design mobile broadband VoIP solutions for new customers as well as upgrades/updates of new functionality for existing customers.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for creating solution proposals in conjunction with regional and bid management staff of the products that need to be sold as part of an end to end solution.
Sizing the solution to ensure it meets the requested capacity so that the relevant Bill of Materials can be gathered for a solution proposal.
Understanding the capabilities of the product portfolio for the business area to be able to discuss current and new solutions with prospective customers.
Responsible for determining gap analysis and generating Change Requests on the relevant product(s) to meet the solution design.
Represents the solution capability to the customer as part of the sales process.
Remuneration for the role of Solutions Architect mobile broadband IP
Base salary 55k to 80k
Commission (90/10)
