Details My client requires engineers that have had experience with Nokia 2G and especially 3G Networks and Equipment to join a project in a very desirable Latin American Location. The duration of the project will be 6 months, but very extendable.

Main Tasks will include

Integrations and new builds on 2G and 3G sites - Perform Site parameter modifications - Edge creation, Re-homes, Swaps and activations - Update EPm with Integration milestones G-NIC Activities - Ensure G-NIC support activities are completed according to planned data fill. - Place site in maintenance mode - Lock sites ready for CM work - Generate upgrade files using CM tools for complex and simple upgrades - Create XML plans in OSS using CM plan manager - Import XML files to NMS - Check NSEI assignment and change if required - Down load plans and create DAP pools if needed - Run comparison files and check data - Trouble shoot site problems with field techs - BCSU Switch over - Alarm checks and trouble shooting - Define external alarms for new Integrations - Adjacency creation and loading - Remove sites from Maintenance mode and unlock sites for final Integration / test calls - Monitor test calls per sector if required - Audit logs created from upgrade - Define maintenance regions - Update G-NIC tracker and tools to ensure accurate reporting showing actual timestamps - Check voice messages and return calls to field technicians - Remote troubleshooting support - Ensure quality of implemented data to sites - Verify functional tests with field engineer (external alarms, Q1, test calls, HO,) - Verify functionality of TRS to site and assist troubleshooting if required (DNC included) - Confirm MW Q1 working at integration - Escalate field tech or site issues to G-NIC lead - If requested, follow up daily E-tracker updates and cross check with Network tracker updates - Create Daily reports if requested and send to project Interface - Notify G-NIC lead of any problems related to upgrade or new Integration - Interface with field tech for site issues Tools - Ensure ePM completely updated at all times according to work carried out Meetings - Attend Internal G-NIC meetings
