Network Solutions - Managed Services Pre-Sales Expert / Solutions Architect - Egypt
Egyptian nationals or currently located in Egypt preferable.
You will define and recommend the winning architectures and solutions to transform customers network operations processes, systems & organization, in the frame of Managed Services / outsourcing contracts for this international telecoms vendor. A background in network solutions from a vendor e.g. Cisco, Oracle, Ericsson, Juniper, NSN, ALU etc. is preferred. CDMA, GSM, LTE, EDGE, 3G etc. solution provision to major telecoms operators worldwide. Managed Services background is also ideal.
Our customer is expanding their Bids and Pricing teams with experienced, Network Solutions Architects / Pre-Sales Consultants, to support their business growth and major opportunities in Managed Services & Outsourcing Middle-East and Africa region.
Overview
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Engage with Customer (including at senior level, typically CTO) to understand current mode of operations, constraints, technologies and plans related to network evolutions (deployment, construction)
In close cooperation with Sales / Pursuit Leader/ MSD/ NSI, develop innovative to be processes and organization
Detail & document benefits in terms of cost effectiveness, service differentiators, operational capabilities
Develop Service Level Agreements for recommended solutions support associated OSS & IT related definitions
Define & document associated resource plans & costing models for operations
Lead and coordinate Due Diligence activities
Support Pursuit Lead or Bid manager in task scheduling ,cost estimates and corresponding IPIS
Define & support Transition Plans
Other Duties
Actively contribute to the definition & improvement of best practices for the Managed Services Division, to increase profitability, performance & customer satisfaction
Support the central & local delivery teams during the transition & implementation phases
Measurement
Win ratio on qualified opportunities 50%
Profitability of signed deals
Experience & required skills
10+ years experience in, and broad understanding of the Telecommunications & IT markets
Management experience in engineering / operations with a Telecom Operator
Influencer, ability to engage at CxO level with a customer
Excellent communication & listening skills
Innovative mindset, ability to challenge status quo
Team worker, autonomous & willing to work in a multi-cultural environment
Mobility to support customer projects on ad-hoc basis fluent in English and at least one other language ( Arabic and or French )
