We are looking for a quality driven and experienced Project Office Manager / PMO who will be responsible for finance, risk, change, resources and offer guidance and data to our customer\'s Project Managers. You must be from a customer facing and commercially driven environment. Establishing the PMO, revenue recognition methods, financial plannnig PM guidance etc..

As the Project Office Manager / PMO Manager your experience should cover-
- solid Project Office background
- project reporting governance
- experienced in revenue recognition methods
- customer facing - external experience
- telecoms sector experience - vendor or operator
- ideally you will have been a Project Manager previously
- resource management / allocation
- financial planning and reporting / financial analysis - able to drill into the figures
- risk management
- resource and capacity planning

- able to guide Project and Programme Managers
- formal Project Management methods / qualification - Prince 2, PMP, MSP etc (qualified ideally)

Overview of the role of Project Office Manager
- Run the Project Management Office, to administer various project management processes with appropriate levels of control and reporting.
- Administer, prepare and analyse project based information and data to support the Project team and Head of Services
Main Responsibilities for the role of Project Office Manager
Project Management
Understand the Companys project environment and be able to fulfil a number of project management processes and procedures in line with the Companys PMO guidelines and methodologies
- Ownership of the risk and issues management process in line with the Companys PMO standard
- Ownership the project communication process in line with the Companys PMO standards
- Ensure conformance to PM best practice and company standards & guidelines - e.g. Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction Survey
- Ownership of the regional project and programme reporting required to meet the Companys PMO standards this may include the generation of ad-hoc reporting for the management team
Planning, organising and forecasting
Demonstrate excellent planning and personal organisation skills.
- Ownership of the change control process
- Maintain document repository including superseded documents and carry out audits of the projects and workspace, follow-up to ensure configuration standards are maintained in line with Companys standards
- Administer the project planning and project scheduling process to ensure adherence to the Companys standards
- Ownership of centralised resource management processes (including demand and capacity planning) in line with Companys PMO standards
- Assisting the project teams with regular updates to ensure deadlines are consistently met or any variances are documented and understood
Commercial Awareness / Financial Management
Understand the commercial environment specifically in relation to new opportunity identification and ongoing revenue recognition
- Administer the commercial management and variations process in line with the Companys PMO standards
engagement in bid stage of new proposals
- Report financial performance in line with Companys corporate requirements
Revenue recognition
- Ensure appropriate financial controls through analysis, audit and reporting as required by the project and programme team
General
Liaise with partners and suppliers as required by the project and programme team
Work with the wider Companys PMO teams to ensure centralised governance and adherence of Companys PMO methods, standards and methodologies
- Process and complete general office administration activities such as distribution of documents, document retention and collection of data so matters are progressed in line with Companys PMO procedures
- Update and interrogate relevant data sources (i.e. local PMOs) and produce and distribute centralised dashboard reports from these so complete and accurate information is available to management as required
