Overview of the role of Key Account Planning & Strategy Manager Egypt
Working for an international telecoms vendor this is a new and key role for the MEA region. Your ideal background will have been from companies such as Cisco, Ericsson, Juniper, Oracle, ALU etc..

As part of the overall MEA Region\'s effort to strengthen focus on customer and improve sales practices, the role will be responsible for

- The orchestration of Global, International and Key account planning activities and related commercial strategy in addition to associated best-practice sharing
- Definition and orchestration of MEA top business priority programs and Strategic Deals
- On-demand business consulting (e.g. break-in plans for specific customers, anticipation programs for new licenses and/or customer merger & acquisition activities, ).

It will act as a catalyst for a positive and a constructive change in the business and sales domains to assess and improve business performance from \"quote to cash\", selection of key accounts targets for the region and permanent follow up of the progress/performance of these given accounts.

Responsibilities
- Analyzes the competitive environment and future telecom trends in the region and Re-use opportunities/ideas/experiences from other markets in order to make recommendations based on findings
- Persistently communicate with the key stakeholders about maturing new ideas applicable in the region
- Brings together the resources available in KAM, S&M, and B&P to discover new opportunities by supporting market analysis and research, competitive activity monitoring, customer needs, market trends identification, and alternative anticipation/planning methodologies in order to formulate strategic vision for growth
- Drives new identified opportunities and coordinates the establishment of dedicated taskforces to address regional business demands and initiatives.
- Leading the efforts of New Account Breakthrough Strategy development

Required Qualifications for the role of Key Account Planning & Strategy Manager - Egypt

Deep Knowledge of telecom market dynamics in Middle East and Africa from Vendors Operators and Consumers view.
Ability of defining the complex interdependencies that exist between competitive and market analyses, business model definition, marketing strategy, account planning, and organizational design.
Experienced in driving cross-functional teams and departments
Has the ability to combine the innovative, perceptive and holistic insights of Key Account Planning with the pragmatic and systematic skills of a planner to guide strategic direction in context of business needs and customer values to create a sustainable commercial advantage
Strong planning, driving, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong telecom sales strategies and operations background.

Education
A Bachelor\'s university degree in the telecom field/computer science but has to be telecom industry experience/exposure
Master of Business Administration is highly preferred
Project Management Experience is preferred
8 -12 years experience in telecommunications
