In our R&D group, you'll be part of a team that develops leading edge wireless test equipment for the growing WiFi, WiMAX, UWB and Cellular markets. Though you**ll be part of a team, you will also be working independently and setting your own priorities. The scope and complexity of your projects will be based on your existing knowledge and capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement signal analysis and generation algorithms in Matlab, C and C++ for WiFi, WiMAX, UWB, GSM, W/CDMA and other wireless communication standards
* Develop advanced RF test and measurement techniques to enable our worldwide customers to design, calibrate and production test their wireless devices
* Work with other groups to integrate the signal processing modules into the overall test framework, which includes both software and hardware components
Qualifications
* BSEE, MSEE preferred, with 5+ years industry experience developing DSP algorithms in Matlab, C, and C++.
* Experience developing baseband receiver and transmitter algorithms for OFDM, MIMO, DSSS, CDMA or other wireless modulation schemes
* Understanding of RF impairments and channels; experience operating and performing measurements with RF test equipment is highly desirable
* A proven ability to conceptualize and describe an overall system architecture, which includes both software and hardware components
* A team player with strong communication and problem solving skills
