CS Core R4 Engineers (India)
India CS Core Engineer (R4) $300- $400 USD per day (Depending on experience)
Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
To work as a team player for commissioning / integration and Acceptance of MSC, HLR, MGW, MSS and other new products in the field of switching (CS Core) should be flexible and adaptive in learning new technologies.
To provide technical support with a bent of mind towards trouble shooting as part 24x7 emergencies as well as in critical problems in rollouts/implementations. To act as a implementer of new solutions and services by interacting with other teams
Requirements: \"MANDATORY\":
1) Experience in switching system, knowledge and exposure to different switching networks, signaling, telecom standards, and implementations.
2) Experience with Nokia MSC.HLR, MSS, and MGW Implementation for 2-3 Years
3) Integration and Commissioning of MSC and HLR and integration with other nodes and acceptance testing.
4) Experience in other vendor soft switch products and Cisco certifications like CCNA and CCNP
5) Experience in router IP configuration (e.g. Cisco 3750 and Cisco 7609)
6) Experience in MSS/MGW expansions, troubleshooting
7) Experience in integrating other nodes like HLR, IN, SRBT, OSS etc
8) Experience in complex activities like MB/GSW troubleshooting, HLR swaps and splits, MVI, etc

1) Should be a team player, while maintaining high individual contribution to the team
2) Ethical attributes, Organizational Citizenship Behavior and creative traits are needed.
3) Should be flexible in attitude as well as open in expressing emotions with superiors. Should be of help seeking nature, whenever needed.
4) Must be open to travel extensively throughout India at short notice.
5) Must be responsible, self motivated, and expected to take many decisions for project and the department without constant supervision.
6) Should be respectful and sensitive to people from other cultures and countries.
Business Unit Description:
Core Competence Stream takes care in rollout and implementation of 2G and 2.5G CS Core products and services, including MSC, HLR, MSS, and MGW. As the Indian telecom market is booming, there are heavy rollout pressures on the group from all customer accounts alike Bharti, Hutch, Idea & BSNL.
Apart from rollout pressures, we also strive to excel in technical support by improving our front end solving rate, improving outage resolution time, CRCT and other KPIs. We invest lot of time and effort in the competence buildup in the needed niche technologies by class room trainings and interaction with global peers
