Details Provide engineering support for OBS deployment and Customer Care as projects Support during

Implementation phase for OBS, CIT / Helpdesk function during Care phase and Operation support. Key tasks of the job as

1. Commissioning, integrating, System verification & acceptance and troubleshooting for Netact and Advantage Commander OSS Products. Develop and maintain project competence, process, and documents for network deployment.

2. Provide advanced technical support to projects to troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalations from project and overall responsible for the OBS element technical Issue handling.

3. Work as Technical HelpDesk function including 24/7 emergency on-call support. Carry responsibility of Technical Analysist & Technical contact Point, Case Manager. Understand and work to achieve ECC trouble ticket performance. Coordinate actions and investigation of technical Issues between Customer, regional care management, tier2/tier3/ Product Line support teams.

4. Organize and participate in pilot, FOA, SW/ CD deployment, Software and new feature verification, MOP generation as well as test case creation- execution.

5. Provide support to customers for operations and maintenance of OBS elements including competence transfer to customer’s operations teams for local and remote operations and maintenance tasks.

6. Serve as local customer interface and coordinate communication for services and issues between customer market teams and NSN service lines.

7. Supports operations services such as traffic rehomes, network retunes, feature activations, network modification and Performance analysis.

8. Support Customer Lab for SW/ HW New Feature verification and validation.

9. Ensure quality customer satisfaction survey targets and carry end to end OBS support function


CANDIDATE MUST HAVE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: Netact working experience on OSS4.2/ OSS 5.1 or Advantage Commander experience on @com V9/V10. Education as Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Information Technology • 5+ years experience in technical support and implementation for wireless communications networks Operations and Maintenance Center Implementation, Administration & Maintenance (NSN Netact OSS5.x or NSN Netact OSS4.2 required). • Strong Unix experience (HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Linux) and Server Clustering (Sun Cluster, MC/ServiceGuard, RedHat Cluster Suite, IBM Websphere). • Solid Understanding of network interface protocols, Oracle 9i/10G, Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, Citrix Metaframe) and Cisco Routing and Switching. • Understanding of wireless network implementation and operations services.
