My Client is an industry leader for message routing,statistics & network querying solutions.As the telecom industry technology partner for message routing, probing & network querying in wireless networks, we provide solutions for modern GSM,UMTS,TDMA & CDMA networks in the wireless world
The Role
The Support Engineer will development & support of our mobile network products,we are currently looking for support engineers to expand our development & support team.
You will participate in the design & operation of My Client's GSM products & projects,as well as to perform system testing, advanced troubleshooting & problem resolution.
Ideally you will have an:-
Engineering degree, electrical engineering or equivalent
Detailed experience with Unix Operating systems, preferably Linux and/or Solaris
Experience with configuration of Services under Unix,e.g.Web Servers,NTP, DNS,SNMP
Experience in IP routing, TCP/IP techniques, redundancy & security concepts
Advantage if you also have experience with mobile networks including SMS & Multimedia Messaging
Knowledge of C-programming, Perl,Shell Scripts,software engineering
General knowledge of system engineering practices including computer hardware assembly
Must have the ability to work independently & as a part of a team
Must have a supportive attitude, be customer focused also when working under stress
Fluent in English language & preferable also in Dutch |
