ParaCell Resources is looking for skilled Site Survey and Drive Test Radio Engineers to work in South Africa
Candidates need to have good experience in:
1. Set up the calls sequence in TEMS investigation for both 2G and 3G calls.
2. Drive Test Route design using MapInfo
3. Troubleshoot and fix TEMS Equipment setup and call sequence issues on his/her own
4. Data collection / Drive Testing of 2G/3G Speech, Video, FTP packet, IRAT calls and GPRS/EDGE field data by drive
5. Testing of pre agreed routes with the customer
6. Problem Logging based on issues seen in the field. Compiled and documented extensive report on issues and possible causes i.e Dropped calls, interference, HO failures and poor coverage for optimizers to address.
7. Very good knowledge of TEMS Investigation and its setups. Has a strong background in the mobile telecommunications industry in two areas: RF network drive testing and mobile handset field trials.
8. Good knowledge of GSM and 3G technology and principles.
9. Used to using own initiative and working alone, or as part of a team.
10. Ability to deal with people using tact and diplomacy, along with excellent communication skills.
11. Hands on experience with TEMS Equipment setup for drive testing for 2G/3G Speech, Video, FTP packet, IRAT calls and GPRS/EDGE, site verification and cluster drives.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently are essential skills. Ericsson Infrastructure experience is mandatory. Please apply with accompanying CV’s and Availability.
