Operations Director - Telecoms - Dubai

We require an experienced commercial Operations Director with a solid and recent track record of Operations management within a telecoms vendor environment. This is for a leading international telecoms company / vendor.

You will bring with you a strong pedigree of telecoms, management of operational projects for customers, Middle East experience, staff management (project managers, engineers etc.), financial management, KPI\'s and P&L experience.

Managing MENA regions operational projects you will have direct responsibilities for three project managers and another two indirectly along with teams of engineers.

Your profile and background for the role of Operations Director:-
- Current Operations Manager / Operations Director / Director of Operations
- Telecoms vendor background
- Telecoms operations project management
- Middle East, Africa experience
- Track record of excellent people management
- Solid operations experience
- KPI management
- Revenue generation, achieving regional targets, solution sales
- European
- Financial management, P&L etc.
- Telecoms operations project management
- GSM, VAS / messaging solutions ideally
- Project Manager management
- Line / people / matrix management - very strong
- Budgets to $XXXM
- PMI PMP, Prince 2, APMP accredited

The role is based in Dubai, UAE with travel in the MENA region.
