Scope:
1. Traffic volume audit
Traffic volume audit depicts the traffic volume coming into and going out from the target node. In an ideal situation, the incoming and outgoing volume should be identical. It helps to identify whether any traffic is generated from unknown source or any traffic is delivered to unknown destination. Audit team will review the statistics configuration to ensure it reflects the actual traffic level on both incoming and outgoing sides of the switch. The reliable statistics will be used as a basic input to evaluate the traffic flows, and ensure the integrity of the traffic handling.
2. CDR verification audit
A random time frame of CDR sample will be fetched, and matched with the statistics result. The audit is to verify whether the revenue generated in the node reflects the actual traffic level.
3. Major KPI audit
Major KPI will be identified and benchmarked. It sets up a KPI baseline before providing managed service. KPI is an important and objective approach to evaluate the operation & maintenance level of the network.
4. Hardware audit
Hardware audit will provide a high level survey in all outstanding issue on hardware on each switch. It sets up a baseline before Managed Service, and it is an input of hardware spare part inventory handling.
