Account Manager / Business Development Manager x 2 – Telecoms - VAS Sales - Dubai, us$160k to us$200k pa, inclusive. Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
Working for an international vendor in the telecoms arena you will bring your experience and background in Account Management and Sales within the telecoms sector to this thriving organisation. MENA region, with travel.
It is likely you will have worked for or be working for a blue chip vendor such as Oracle, Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Comverse, Ericsson, Logica, Microsoft or other telecoms vendors. Your account and sales customers should include telecoms operators such as – Du, Zain, Syriatel, Orascom, STC, Batelco, JTC, Umniah, MTC, Wataniya, QTEL, Etisalat etc..
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
•8-10 years of direct sales / account management experience specifically within telecoms (VAS ideally – SMSC, MMSC solutions) coupled with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding quota and developing accounts.
•Broad industry knowledge and understanding of product lifecycles and customer value propositions for products in the mobile industry
•Excellent communication in both Arabic and English (written and oral),
•Presentation and negotiation skills. Experienced in senior-level negotiations and relationship building
•Motivated, results oriented, self-starter
•Minimum BSc degree level in related field
•PC literate
•Willing and available to travel frequently within the region MENA
Key tasks and activities
•Develop sales plans, pursue and close sales opportunities within Key Accounts and new prospects
•Build and strengthen account relationships to maximize future business opportunities for MENA.
•Identify opportunities and mobilize the appropriate proposition sales and support resource to close the opportunity.
•Manage communication and contact within the key account and between internal units to ensure customer satisfaction
•Understand the client’s future business plans and needs. Influence the client definition of requirements in order to maximise the opportunities for the account.
•Work closely with Business Units to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
•Provide accurate input and updates to weekly sales forecasts
•Develop pipeline to meet business plans and provide accurate forecasts
•Execute appropriate customer oriented marketing campaigns & events
•Primary measures, Orders & Cash Collection
