Job Description/Responsibilities:

-Add/Expand IuB links for existing Ericsson Node B equipment in the 3G network.
-Perform specific job tasks including:
-Create/Prepare & validate scripts to be run in the RNC, Node B & MSN(Aggregator)
-Execute Scripts in the RNC, Node B & MSN(Aggregator)
-Complete Pre & Post checks of all systems including Health Checks, etc.
-Create/Prepare/Update Work Orders, Trouble Tickets, Status Reports
-Troubleshoot & Operate all 3G Network Systems/Components.
-Is able to assist others in resolving complex &/or chronic problems in the 3G Network.
-Demonstrates high proficiency in resolving complex problems with 3G Network components.
-Act in a leadership role to provide guidance & support to other team members, internal customers & other operations groups (i.e. MSC, RNOC & ATS).
-Perform all responsibilities without assistance & with minimal or no supervision.

-Posses skills to be able to complete items shown in the list of responsibilities (listed below)

-Script preparation

-Script Execution

-Understanding of the UMTS Network (Overview)

-Must have experience with 3G Network Elements

-Must be completely comfortable working in a Sun Solaris &/or Unix environment for the purpose of preparing and executing scripts & otherwise controlling and operating systems in a live 3G network.

-Experience with WinFiol, ProComm, HyperTerminal, Telnet, FTP

-Experience with MS Office, advanced user of Excel.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
