Customer Support Engineer WCDMA/RAN - BTS- NSN

Requirements:
- Plans and executes technical tasks according to given tasks, along with existing processes and instructions.
- Works with the responsibility of responding to customer problems directly or through internal customer interface.
- Solves technical problems.

Qualifications:
- The candidates need to have 3 years of GSM Radio Access
- 1 year of UMTS Radio Access experience.
- With 3 years of Nokia GSM experience preferred.

Recommended:
- Typically 3-4 years NSN BTS experience mostly with 3G WCDMA products.
- Formal technical training with an AA or Bachelors degree in engineering discipline.
- Leads the field maintenance team allocated to the cluster in question,
- Plans, schedules, supervises, records and follows up preventive maintenance activities within the cluster involved, including site maintenance when in the agreed scope,
- Prepares, coordinates, prioritizes, supervises, records and follows up corrective maintenance of the production platforms and sites when agreed and necessary.
- Cooperates and reports about the trouble handling under the direction of the Network Operation Centre.
- Collects site visit reports to FLM Manager.
- Sends and receives spare parts to vendors according to the spare parts process
- Maintains Site Folders.
- Provides cluster specific information to the operating organization.
- Empowers every employee to exceed customer expectation.
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills and Responsiveness, pro-activeness and ownership.
- Uses job rotation to keep people motivated.
- Selects, monitors, promotes and develops a successor.

Other Considerations:
- Manages expansions and new site installation in cluster (=part of the production network).
- Personally integrates new sites to the production platforms.
- Participates with the field maintenance team in system and platform upgrades within the cluster.
- Participates with the team in network optimisation efforts with Network Planning and Configuration Management teams.
