Operations Director - MENA - VAS / Messaging / Telecoms - Dubai (European candidates)

Experienced commercial Operations Director for a leading international telecoms company / vendor. You will bring with you a strong pedigree of telecoms, staff management (project managers, engineers etc.), operational management, financial management, KPI's and P&L experience. VAS / Messaging experience is desirable and Middle East experience is mandatory. These are operational projects for our clients customers who are tier one to three telcos typically.

Managing MENA regions operational projects you will have direct responsibilities for three project managers and another two indirectly along with teams of engineers.

Your profile and background for the role of Operations Director:-
- Operations Manager / Operations Director / Project / Programme / Head of Projects
- Track record of excellent people management
- Solid operations experience
- KPI management
- Revenue generation, achieving regional targets, solution sales
- European
- Financial management, P&L etc.
- Telecoms operations project management
- VAS / messaging solutions ideally
- Project Manager management
- Line / people / matrix management - very strong
- Budgets to c$20M
- Middle East Northern Africa experience ideally
- PMI PMP, Prince 2, APMP accredited
- Telecoms vendor background
- Telecoms operations project management
- Middle East Northern Africa experience

The role is based in Dubai, UAE with travel in the MENA region.
