EdgeTech Consulting seeks a Wireless Developer for our direct client.

***Work Remotely Off-Hours & Weekends!!!***

This is a backfill and the need is critically urgent!

This is an immediate need for our client, who has a new development project started!!! This project will interface with another project currently running so the two developments will be integrated.

We need highly skilled developer with the following experience:

1. Experienced mobile phone software developer
2. Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003 and Compact Framework 1.0
3. Implementation of the following on the Window Mobile platform:
a. Wireless access protocols (GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth)
b. Wireless messaging (jabber experience a plus)
c. IPC connection interface (point to point, sockets, *)
d. Mobile databases
e. User Interface implementation
f. Location technologies such as GPS
h. Working with good attitude is a definite must.

They are also looking for somebody with deep knowledge of device programming, such as with device drivers, controlling hardware, etc and Power management - (i.e., s/w that conserves battery life); also, software that knows how to wake up the system if the system has gone to sleep. The software would need to trigger the OS to wake up again. This is new and very important in the future of wireless. And lastly, who knows Security. (- OS is Microsoft Mobile.)

Other required skills include:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Team player attitude
- Self-motivated.
