Goodman Networks, a professional services company serving the wireline and wireless telecommunications industry, is a National Vendor for AT&T, Andrew Corp., Sprint/Nextel, and Alcatel-Lucent.
We are currently hiring a RNC Expansion and Migration – Market Program Manager for a contract assignment in the Chicago, Illinois, Redmond, Washington, Washington DC, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position is a key customer facing, high profile project that will manage the execution and delivery of a large RNC deployment and traffic migration program. It involves the deployment of over 50 new RNC\'s in west region markets and migration of traffic of over 2,500 node-B’s in support of AT&T Mobility in the West Region markets.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the development of the RNC & WMS deployment and migration plan/schedule including the buy in from the functional organization and alignment of resource plans to support the program execution
Identify the program risks and manage those risks throughout the execution of the program
Manage the end to end program execution including scope, material forecasting, material ordering, site engineering, network design, installation, integration, and CATP
Identify and drive the migration requirements and execution
Demonstrate project management concepts and skills to plan, execute, and close issues across multiple functional organizations and Work with the functional teams to address any process or resource related issues
Be the central interface to the Customer while working with the peer PMs and CTAs to get sites ready for installation, integration, and migration
Coordinate and manage the order fulfillment, tracking and order delivery
Coordinate the service readiness for the internal functional groups
Coordinate master schedule that entails customer deliverable activities
Coordinate and work with the customer on customer training and readiness for the new RNCs and WMSs
Manage weekly updates and communicates progress internally and externally
Interface with ALU National PMO team to balance risk and meet expected timelines
Single point of contact for the customer and customer interface/relationships while insuring that program objectives are clearly defined, communicated, agreed to, tracked, and met
REQUIREMENTS:
5-10 years experience in program management and at least 1-2 years in deployment of wireless networks a must
Prior experience in coordinating and managing network/traffic cutover or migration is preferred
Individual that is process oriented and have a process mind set
Proficiency with personal computer business applications such as Power Point, Excel, and Word.
Proficient in the use of scheduling programs like P3 or Microsoft scheduler
Outstanding oral and written communication skills – a must!
Identifying, analyzing and solving problems
Tenacity to work towards resolution of all problems
Proactive Leadership skills
A technical engineering degree (Bachelor or Masters)
