Details The GSM RO Engineer’s Functional Role is typically working with Radio Base Stations (RBS) and to some extent Base Station Control (BSC) and requires Ericsson equipment experience.


Responsibilities:

•RBS hardware problems are to be identified and escalated to corresponding departments (NRO, NFM, etc…).
•Assigned to work on troubleshooting problematic cells / parameters tuning/ performance monitoring and improvement of the Radio Network (2G).
•The GSM RO Engineer category is vital in ensuring and keeping the performance of the radio network at the highest possible level by ensuring that problems / degradations are handled swiftly, and that the contracted KPI’s are fulfilled.
•Should solve and correct radio network problems according to agreed timing and standards set.


Requirements:

•Performance monitoring of BTS BSC nodes.
•Identifying and solving problematic Cells.
•Analyzing Drive Test log files.
•Investigate sudden Radio network performance degradations.
•Must be able to work to tight time scales.
•High degree of analytical and investigative abilities.
•Fluency in English.


Location: Riyadh & Jeddah, Saudi Arabia .
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months (extend able).
Start date: ASAP.
