Our client is seeking a Staff Engineer - Motor Control Software Design to design new and existing embedded motor control software for PMAC, BLDC, Induction, and SR motors for robust on/off road hybrid electric vehicles and harsh environments.
In this position, you will:
Provide technical leadership and direction to create and review innovative software architectures and designs (including Modeling and Simulation) for challenging problems.
Perform advanced analysis and make recommendations and design decisions based on results.
Have expert knowledge in implementing code using advanced programming techniques, tool chain set-up, issues involving multiple code modules, code bases, and/or multiple developers.
Perform and/or coordinate detailed unit, integration, and systems verification and validation testing using software tools including emulators, debuggers, hardware in the loop and simulations.
