Details RF Engineer II Major Responsibilities: iDEN knowledge is a must for this
position. Must be efficient to ensure that the network coverage, sectorization
planning, network optimization metrics, and blocking objectives are met within
their designated cluster. The Contractor should be in the position to use
various measurement tools to collect and analyze data including RF data
collection tools, Spectrum Analyzer and RF Field strength meters. Knowledge of
RF hardware including: antennas, coax, transmitter receivers is desirable.
Knowledge of link budgets, path loss analysis, antenna selection and iDEN
parameters is fundamental to the position. Should have at least 3 years wireless
telecommunications experience. Excellent organizational, verbal and written
skills are required. Proficiency in Windows based computer systems and
applications. Knowledge of propagation (Wizard), data post processing tools
(Actix) and MAPINFO is desirable.
